Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much-needed business items. Our storage facility offers clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to access items more easily. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored; even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Yes, we have complimentary moving carts available on-site.
We pride ourselves on making things as simple as possible for our customers. With advance notice, we will attempt to reserve a parking spot right in front of the entrance door.
We offer boxes of three different sizes, 500x500x300; 640x380x410 and 640x400x400 and packaging tape. Bike racks can be rented for only 1 CHF per month. Everything we offer is competitively priced.
We have two different types of padlocks: regular key or digital combination, available for sale. However, please feel free to bring your own padlock.
There is an electronic keypad, the access control device, at the entrance door of the storage facility. Access is granted after the personal access code is punched in. Each tenant is assigned an individual unique access code.
The code is received when a rental agreement is signed and payment submitted. The access code is active until the last paid date.
We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard and Visa. You can also pay via bank transfer or make a cash payment on-site.
Yes, insurance is required to store at TipTop Lager. We offer two insurance options, the Basic Plan and the Standard Plan, with coverages up to 2000 CHF and 4000 CHF, respectively. If you need additional coverage, it should be purchased independently. You are free to use an alternative insurance company. In this case, you will be required to buy coverage from TipTop Lager at the time of the agreement signing. As long as you provide proof of other insurance coverage within three business days, the premium paid to TipTop Lager will be fully reimbursed.
Valid government-issued ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
We require one month of advanced written notice before penalty-free rental agreement termination.

The first initial rent payment includes the following:
- First-month rent payment
- One month security deposit that will be returned one week after the rent expiration/termination
- Insurance premium
- The cost of a padlock or moving supplies if purchased
- Sales tax of 8.1%
